This auction is for a 36 triloom handcrafted from locally grown, kiln-dried and milled White Ash. This triloom has been sanded smooth and finished with a high quality, hand-rubbed, natural (clear) finishing oil for a durable, hard, moisture resistant finish. All edges and corners are gently rounded.
The fluted birch pegs are left unfinished to provide grip to your weaving material while allowing ease of removal of your finished piece. The three thumbsrews allow for easy assembly and disassembly requiring no tools.
This is a heavy duty triloom built from 7/8 x 1 1/2 custom cut stock. Built to give many years of service, and finished to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
Basic triloom weaving instructions are included.
I build trilooms from 12 to 8 along the hypotenuse, and triloom stands, using primarily white ash, red oak, cherry and walnut, but virtually any hardwood is available. Please watch for future listings and feel free to inquire about a particulaer size or wood that you re interested in but haven t seen listed recently.
